A major revolution has taken place in the 3C industry! The 27 EU member states and the European Parliament have agreed that manufacturers of all electronic devices, including mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, and wireless earphones, that are sold in the EU will standardize their charging interfaces to Type C (also known as USB-C) from autumn 2024. The EU expects to save consumers 250 million euros a year and reduce electronic waste by 11,000 tons.
EU integrates Type-C interface for charging mobile devices
Type-C interface unification is where the trend is
Type-C is an electronic device interface standard that has the advantages of reverse insertion, bidirectional transmission, high speed, and small size. It is mainly used in mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Type-C is compatible with multiple existing non-Apple devices and can have faster data transfer and charging speeds. Currently, the Android world has almost completed the unification of the Type-C charging interface, but only the iPhone is equipped with the Lightning interface. APPLE is clearly the biggest opponent of this bill, and the reason for its opposition is that this bill kills innovation.

Two Type-C interface chargers have quietly appeared on Apple's official website!
On June 7th of this year, the Apple Store started selling two new 35W dual USB-C port power adapters, but consumers need to purchase the charging cable separately. The fifth generation iPad Air, which was released this year, already has a Type-C interface. This means that Apple is preparing to change to the Type-C interface.
NIMASO currently has two types of charging cables, C to C and A to C , which customers can choose according to their needs.
Unlike ordinary cables, NIMASO cables are made of nylon material with excellent toughness. The cable has passed our in-house tests of 5,000 insertions and removals and over 10,000 bendings. The wire itself is flexible, making it easy to store. You don't have to worry about bending the cable during use, and the life of the cable itself can be extended.

Will APPLE release a new iPhone with Type-C interface at the end of next year?
Previously, information from APPLE's supply chain employees has suggested that Apple may use the USB-C interface on some models of the iPhone 15 next year.
NIMASO is enjoying the announcement of the iPhone 15. However, what everyone is paying the most attention to right now is the iPhone 14 series (tentative), which is the most beautiful and most expensive iPhone in history.

So, will the charging cable for the new iPhone 14, which will be released in September, be Type-C?
According to the latest information released by Bloomberg's famous science and technology reporter Mark Gurman, which is largely consistent with the information previously revealed, the new iPhone 14 series will offer four models, just like before. However, unlike the iPad Pro and iPad Air, which have begun to use the more popular USB-C interface, the iPhone 14 series of phones will continue to use the Lightning interface that has been used for 10 years.
NIMASO will be posting the latest information on the iPhone 14 in real time on social media, so be sure to follow the NIMASO official website, Twitter, and Facebook and keep an eye on it with us!
Currently, NIMASO is focusing on new product development for September.
Among the new products, we are releasing a limited edition product - a guide frame!!

The glass film for the NIMASO iPhone 14 series (tentative name) is a glossy glass film that has received great reviews.
NIMASO's glossy glass film can express the original vividness of the smartphone screen without reducing it, and since it has a fingerprint-resistant nano-coating layer, you can enjoy it anytime without leaving fingerprints. So, we will also be releasing smartphone cases for the new iPhone series. Please check it out!
Let's enjoy it together with the new iPhone!
