NIMASO Quality Assurance Service (hereinafter referred to as "this warranty") refers to the product quality assurance service operated and provided by our company.

If a product provided by an authorized NIMASO dealer causes you inconvenience, we will provide support under this warranty.

Warranty period

The standard warranty period for NIMASO products is 12 months.

Please notify us of any defects in the product via customer support within the quality warranty period from the date of purchase. We will inform you of the warranty once we have received your report. If you would like to extend the warranty, you will need to register as a member and apply for the extended warranty service (free of charge) within 12 months of receiving the product.

  • Smartphone glass film: 12 months standard warranty + 30 months extended warranty
  • Tablet glass film: 12 months standard warranty + 30 months extended warranty
  • Products other than those listed above: 12 months standard warranty + 6 months extended warranty

*Please note: In the case of a set of products with different warranty periods, the warranty period applies to each product. If any product in the set has expired, it will be handled as a single item, not as a resend of the set. Thank you for your understanding.

Warranty details
1. Initial defects

In the case of initial defects (cracks, chips, dirt, etc.) when the product arrives, missing accessories, damaged packaging, etc. (In these cases, warranty service is available for re-shipped products)
Support period: Within the warranty period from the date of purchase

2. Product defects

Film: When applying or using the product, there are floating, air bubbles, dust inclusion, poor reaction, natural breakage (including cracks caused by the customer), or other concerns about the product.

Cases: If you have any questions about cases such as yellowing during use, natural damage, etc., please contact customer support.
Support period: Within the warranty period from the date of purchase

*If a quality problem occurs during the warranty period, we can provide a refund, repair, or exchange. If an incident occurs during the warranty period that appears to be a defect in the product, we will promptly replace the product with an identical new product after confirming the defect. However, if the product is out of stock, discontinued, or for other reasons that prevent us from procuring an identical new product, we may exchange the product for an equivalent successor product or refund the product price. Please note this in advance.

*After our customer support staff has confirmed the problem, we can exchange the product for a new one free of charge. We will cover the shipping costs.

In some cases, such as when purchasing in-store, you may be required to send back the actual item along with the application form. Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping costs for the return.

Guaranteed number of times

If the product breaks down during the warranty period under normal use conditions (use in accordance with the instructions in the instruction manual, etc.), we will provide warranty service free of charge once.

Items not covered by the warranty

1. The product is out of warranty period, no extended warranty has been applied for, or the extended warranty period has expired

2. If you purchased from a seller other than a NIMASO authorized dealer

3. If you have already received an exchange from a NIMASO authorized retailer

4. Campaign prizes are not covered by warranty

5. Product damage due to improper operation by the purchaser

6. If the product information provided by the customer does not match the product information provided when using warranty service

7. If you fail to provide warranty service information (e.g. order number, photos, or other required product information)

8. Malfunctions and damage caused by external factors after purchase (load such as pressure, inclusion of liquids/foreign objects, etc.)

9. If the product is stolen or lost and the buyer no longer has possession of the product, and is unable to confirm the condition of the product

10. Damage to the product caused by fire, earthquake, storm or flood damage, other natural disasters, pollution, etc.

11. Damage to products other than NIMASO products (machine body, display screen, etc.)

12. Warranty service is limited to shipping addresses within Japan.

13. If any trouble occurs during delivery to our company, such as loss, theft, damage, or non-delivery

14. If the Company determines that any of (1) to (13) applies, or if the Company otherwise determines that the product is not covered by the warranty

Handling of Personal Information

The warranty items and personal information provided by customers will be stored and used only for the following purposes.

  • After-sales service to customers (provision of warranty service)
  • To conduct surveys, market research, data analysis, etc., and to notify you about the resulting product and service development and research, events, etc.

Personal information provided by customers will be stored in accordance with the NIMASO Personal Information Protection Policy. It will never be disclosed to third parties for purposes other than those stated above. For more information, please see the Personal Information Protection Policy.

About NIMASO Care+ (Extended Warranty Service)

Customers who purchase NIMASO products from an authorized NIMASO dealer after August 17, 2023 can apply for an extended warranty service that extends the product's quality warranty by 6 to 30 months.
