If you want to enjoy music, movies, and other entertainment while also charging at the same time, you're probably using AirPods.
As for the usability, this is just my personal opinion, but the first thing I noticed when I put them in my ears was the thickness of the AirPods. If you wear them for a long time, your ears will hurt. The number of times you use them will decrease significantly. In addition, there are some drawbacks, such as sound leakage and poor sound quality.
So why do so many iPhone users, including myself, continue to use AirPods and AirPods Pro?
The most important reason is that it is easy to connect to your iPhone. You can also use AirPods to play and switch music, and when you remove one earbud, it automatically stops playback. That's convenient.
However, as users, we are looking forward to this year's new AirPods and AirPods Pro products, just like before. Have they fixed the shortcomings that we are concerned about?
Maybe a design change
According to the Mobile Research Institute, the biggest feature of the new version of AirPods is the adoption of a new design. The revamped design shortens the stem to make it closer to the design of AirPods Pro.
Along with the design change to the AirPods themselves, the size and shape of the charging case has also changed, with the stem becoming shorter, making it shorter in height and wider in width.

The earphones are semi-in-ear type, which may be easier to use for those who are not good at the in-ear type of the current AirPods. However, the image of being able to attach ear tips to AirPods has not been confirmed in the leaked photos of AirPod 3 so far.
Sound quality improvement
Rumor has it that while the design will be updated, there won't be many improvements to the sound quality.
They also lack the highly praised active noise cancelling, and if you choose the in-ear type, you will miss out on the comfortable ventilation system that eliminates the discomfort that can be felt with in-ear type headphones.
However, it's hard to imagine that the sound quality of a new model released for the first time in two years would not have been improved at all. We can probably expect some kind of update.
Other expected features include longer battery life, a new wireless chip, and a smaller system-in-package. Many people predict that the selling price will likely increase.
So what will actually happen? We won't know until the 15th.
