A mockup of the iPhone 16 series leaked in April 2024 clearly shows the design differences between the iPhone 16 lower model and the iPhone 16 upper model (Pro model).
The non-branded iPhone 16 models (basic iPhone 16/16 Plus models) have two camera lenses arranged vertically rather than diagonally, which differs from the camera design of the non-branded iPhone 15.
Meanwhile, rumors suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro models will be slightly larger in size, with Apple continuing to use the square camera bump that houses three lenses, with the camera design on the Pro models remaining largely unchanged.

As seen in the image, all four iPhone 16 models have an "action button" on the left side, which is consistent with earlier iPhone 16 leaks.
On the right side, the new "capture button" is highlighted. It's integrated into the side of the iPhone, rather than sticking out like the volume and power buttons. This design might be a bit tricky for iPhone case manufacturers, as the flat button design makes it difficult to manufacture cases that fit the iPhone's touch without compromising its functionality.
